Corporate Order Terms
For branded, bulk and kit orders placed by organisations. The quotation carries the figures; this page carries the rules.
Quotation validity
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. After that period it may be reissued at current pricing and availability. A quotation is prepared from the information you give us; if quantities, specifications or timing change, we may issue a revised quotation.
Minimum quantities
Some objects, and most customisation methods, carry a minimum order quantity. Any minimum that applies is stated in the quotation. Orders below a minimum may be accepted at a different unit price or set-up charge, which will also be stated in the quotation.
Artwork submission
Artwork should be supplied in a vector format where possible, with fonts converted to outlines and colours specified. If artwork does not meet the requirements for the chosen method, we will tell you what is needed. Preparing or redrawing artwork may carry a charge, which will be stated in the quotation before any work begins.
Brand approval
Where your organisation has brand guidelines, please share them with the artwork. We will follow them as far as the chosen method allows. If your guidelines require sign-off from a brand owner or agency, that sign-off should be obtained before you approve the proof; we treat your approval as confirmation it has been obtained.
Samples
Unbranded samples can be requested through the Samples page. Branded pre-production samples may be available for some methods. Whether a sample is charged, and whether the charge is credited against a subsequent order, is stated in the quotation.
Production approval
Production of customised objects begins only after you approve a proof in writing and any deposit stated in the quotation has been received. Please check spelling, placement, size and colour carefully. The approved proof is the standard we produce to. We are not responsible for errors in an approved proof.
Colour variation
Colour on screen, on paper and on a physical object will never match exactly. Each customisation method has its own tolerance, and the same colour reads differently on different materials. Reasonable variation between the proof and the finished object, and between objects in the same order, is not a defect. Where exact matching matters, ask about a pre-production sample.
Lead times
The lead time for an order is stated in the quotation. It runs from the later of proof approval and receipt of any deposit, not from the date of the quotation. Lead times are estimates given in good faith and depend on material availability and the customisation method. We will tell you promptly if a date changes.
Payment terms
Payment terms, including any deposit, the balance and when each is due, are stated in the quotation. Where credit terms are offered they are subject to approval. We may hold production or delivery while a payment is outstanding.
Changes after approval
Changes requested after proof approval or after production has begun may not be possible. Where they are possible, they may affect the price and the lead time. We will confirm any effect in writing before proceeding. Materials or work already committed for the original specification may be charged as stated in the quotation.
Cancellation
An order may be cancelled before proof approval without charge, other than any artwork or sample charges already incurred. After proof approval, cancellation is subject to the charges stated in the quotation, which reflect materials, customisation and work already committed. Customised objects that have been produced cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are defective.
Delivery
Delivery is to the address or addresses stated in the order confirmation. Delivery charges, and any split-delivery or individual-address services, are stated in the quotation. Please inspect deliveries on arrival and tell us about any damage, shortfall or error without delay. Where delivery is to a third party on your behalf, you remain responsible for confirming the address and for receiving the goods.
Defects
If objects arrive damaged, do not match the approved proof, or have a defect in materials or workmanship, tell us through Order Support with photographs where you can. We will arrange a replacement, a repair or a credit, as set out in our Warranty Policy and Returns Policy. Variation within the tolerances described under Colour variation is not a defect.
