Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information collected
We collect information you choose to give us and a small amount of information that is needed to run this website.
- Contact details you enter into a form: your name, email address, organisation and phone number where you provide it.
- The content of your message, enquiry, quote request or sample request.
- Files you attach to a form, such as a logo or a brief.
- Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Technical information sent by your browser when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to serve and secure the site.
We do not ask for payment details on this website. There is no checkout.
How information is used
We use your information to do what you asked us to do and to run the website safely.
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation or arrange a sample.
- To coordinate an order that follows from a quotation.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the website secure, detect misuse and fix faults.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for automated decision-making.
Enquiries
When you contact us through an enquiry form, we use the details you provide to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We may follow up with you about the same enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list because you made an enquiry.
Quote requests
A quote request usually includes details about your organisation, the objects you are interested in, quantities, timing and any branding requirements. We use this information to prepare and send the quotation, and to answer questions about it. If the quotation becomes an order, the same information is used to fulfil that order.
File uploads
Some forms let you attach a file, for example a logo or a written brief. We use these files only for the purpose you sent them for: assessing artwork, preparing a proof or preparing a quotation.
Please attach only files you have the right to share. Do not attach files that contain sensitive personal information about you or anyone else.
Analytics
No analytics service is enabled on this website today. If we introduce analytics in future, we will describe what is collected and by whom in our Cookies Policy before it is switched on.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to host the website, deliver email and process form submissions. They act on our instructions and may only use your information to provide their service to us.
The current list of providers is available on request from hello@omvato.com.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for any longer period required by law or reasonably needed to resolve disputes.
Enquiry and quotation records are kept for the period set out in our internal retention schedule. Uploaded files are deleted once the purpose they were sent for has ended, unless they form part of an order record.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on the systems where information is stored. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Our providers may store or process information in countries other than the one you are in. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure the information receives appropriate protection under the laws that apply to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your information, which can include the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information, where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter.
- Complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
Children
This website is intended for adults and for people acting on behalf of an organisation. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Policy updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with its effective date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
